Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Owen to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to strengthen our executive leadership team.

Mr Owen comes to Envirosuite with significant executive financial experience in SaaS, financial transformation and operational improvement programs and will join Envirosuite’s Melbourne office on January 24, 2022, reporting to the CEO. Mr Owen brings over 30 years of experience and an extensive background in financial and business performance management to support Envirosuite through its next phase of growth.

He has extensive publicly listed experience across several companies including his most recent role as CFO at Whispir Limited, an Australian based SaaS company providing communication automation. Prior to Whispir, he founded and led CFO Effect, a specialist firm providing CFO skills and finance transformation capability to global ASX-listed companies requiring that executive knowledge and specialisation including PayGroup Limited and Tesserent Limited. Mr Owen has also held senior roles in professional services as an audit partner of a mid-tier chartered accounting firm.

In the role, Mr Owen will oversee all financial decisions impacting operations to ensure business integrity, financial health and to drive Envirosuite’s financial outcomes in line with the long-term strategy.

To help ensure a smooth transition, Michael Hamilton, interim CFO, will work closely with Mr Owen, before transitioning to the role of Head of Strategy.
